Nursery theme for a boy?

I have fallen in love with a blue and green slightly modern bedding set and I'm thinking of either going with an ocean with fish, octopus and sea turtles theme or maybe a pond theme with ducks, turtles, frogs and bugs but I also am very fond of a 10pc set with a retro transportation theme with muted reds, greens, blues and touches of yellow which has everything in it and I like the convenience aspect of having all the decor already together. Any ideas or suggestions? I'm trying for a theme that will grow with him into his toddler years. Already have a crib and dresser/changer in a chocolate/espresso type finish

I think that blue and green are wonderful colors, especially for a baby boy. Surrounding your baby with animals will help him learn about them. For example, if there's a dolphin on the wall, and one day in 1st grade they learn about dolphins, your son can go, whoa, I have one of those in my bedroom!

What are some good comforter themes for a 1 year old and where can I get them?

I am in the process of getting an apartment in January and I wanted to get started on the minor things like bedrooms. I want to get myself a comforter set as well as my 1 year old son. It's hard to find cute themes for a full size bed for my son. I'm not trying to spend a lot on them no more than 100.00-115.00. I've looked on eBay and amazon and not much to go from that I actually like. Not sure what he likes character wise or the colors he likes. I was thinking about a cars theme based on the movie but they weren't quite what I had in mind. (I've been in another state since he was 6 months old job hunting, and working where there is better job opportunities trying to save so I could move him where I am). And also does anyone suggestions on what colors goes well with a silver satin sheet set? And where to get some cute comforter sets for a queen size bed.
