Instead of the usual party favors I suggest that WalMart has inexpensive kits for making jewelry, memory boxes, room decorations, etc. Having one for each girl should keep them busy for awhile and give them something useful to remember the party by.
Or you could just provide a trunk full of craft items and let them use their imaginations. If you have old costume jewelry they can 'remake' or old hats and lots of lace and beads for trim they should have a blast.
Or flip flops for each girl to turn into cool beach shoes.......
possibilities are unlimited really.

40 girl sleepover ?!?!?

for my 13h birthday(big time for me)
im throwing a huge sleepover with 40 girls.
i need some advice and ideas to make it awesome
here's what i have so far :
food: home made pizza
chips
soda and other drinks
candy
music: ipod!
decorations : ??
games: karaoke , truth or dare and dance..need more
its in my huge heated basement so room is not an issue
please help me and thank you !!

games: there is a game I played at my bff's sweet 16 and it is soooo much fun! It's like musical chairs but instead of using chairs you find a partner and everyone makes 2 circles. One partner stands on the inside circle and the other stands on the surrounding outside circle. Music is played and the outside circle walks around the people(standing still) on the inside circle. The goal is to keep your eye on your partner so you can get ot them before the music stops. THEN it gets really fun. When the music stops, the person in charge controlling the music calls out 2 body parts (ei nose, elbow) and you have to get to your partner and put your nose on their elbow, or their elbow on your nose and stay there! It is so funny. And then you call out even harder things like butt, back and foot head-it gets interesting! :)
