I want to do somethig fun with my bedroom. I always have the shudders open. Also my small bathroom. What colors should the walls be..? What should i puto n my walls? What about my bed? It has a headboard with an open shelf. Also my closet..? And i have a chair not a recliner but a furniture chair. I need awesome decor ideas!(: for bedroom and bathroom.

Purple would look nice, but not a dark purple, more like a lilac or lavender. Put up posters, drawings, anything! Maybe above your bed you could have a small shelf with letters that say love or peace or your name. Next to your bed you could put a little rug out for when you get up in the morning, if you have hard wood floors it would work out better. For the bathroom put out a fuzzy rug in front of the sink and get those decorative covers for the toilet seat. and some nice curtains. If you have a shower put the rug there instead. Also, above the sink for the mirror you could have lights surrounding it, like a makeup mirror. Finally with your closet you can hook up some lights in it so when you open it they automatically turn on or get a switch. If you want you can put some paper lanterns on the ceiling or a mini chandelier.
P.S maybe a pod chair or a beanbag chair? (:

Q. Ok. I'm 14 and I am moving into a basement bedroom.
I havn't decided on what to do in my room yet :/
I origionaly wanted an arabian kinda feel... lots of deep reds and golds.. but i had some trouble finding furniture and decorations for it........
Help on finding decorations ??? :-/

Thats a good idea, I like that arabian color palette.
What you can do, depending on what kind of budget you have, is buy nuetral colored furniture, then buy or make accents in the colors you want. Some ideas for an elaborate arabian theme -
Paint your walls in a rich color. Warm cinnamon red or saffron gold, maybe even a deep sage. Paint the ceiling too. Trim and molding can be done in the same color, or in a dark wood finish or even black.
Go to a fabric store such as Michaels or Joanne Fabric, or even the fabric section at Walmart. Get some silks, satins, and the transparent stuff you see on genie costumes and fairy costumes. Drape these fabrics across the ceiling instead of painting it. Hang a canopy over your bed and use the tranparent fabric to hang around the sides of your bed.
Throw pillows and cusions everywhere. Make your floor look as inviting and comfy as your bed. You can make pillows very easily or buy alot of different cheap pillows, and make pillow cases for them, then trim them with gold rope and tassles using hot glue. Even if your room is carpeted, scatter small rugs also, for a plush, luxurious feeling.
Being in the basement, I imagine you dont have much for windows, so just hang some fabric to look like opened curtains, ceiling to floor, every few feet. Then hang mirrors, paintings or shelves between them. Don't use anything white. Use dark colored wood or black for the frames on pictures and mirrors.
If your parents will let you, set candles everywhere, and have insense at hand. Use an ornate vase to hold your insense, place your insense burner next to it along with some candles and you have yourself an alter of sorts.
Dont forget to have some fake tropical plants. Pick them up at a thrift shop. Actually, alot of things can be bought at a thrift store or resale shop or garage sales - like small tables, chairs, pillows, mirrors, pictures. Then all you need is paint and fabric. No need to buy actual arabian decor retail.
