Answer
I love the ocean.. and the beach

We've done our son's room in a nautical theme.. not pirates, but soft colors (with red) and neutrals.. I've custom made the window coverings with canvas material, to look like sails, I had a bunch of seaside and coastal decorations left (like pullies, ancors, sail boat models etc..), because i've collected them over the years :)

still looking for the perfect light fixture

I'm trying to find somthing for a teenage boy's bedroom...?

Natalie

it must fit in a red, blue, and yellow color scheme. It's for a school project. Any accessory except bedding. need pictures

Answer
If you want to stick with the nautical theme you could use this rug and then plug in more red and yellow with a light and a cool poster of the nautical flagshttp://www.csnrugs.com/Nejad-Rugs-AT042-NY-NJD1046.html Clearly this theme would not work everyone but it could look really nice.

Or maybe this rug http://www.csnrugs.com/Couristan-2280-0001-CU1367.html

Sounds like an interesting project good luck!

Anyone have any theme ideas for baby boy bedrooms?

Simple themes. I was thinking like "Ocean themed" and I could paint a couple fish on the walls.

Any ideas?

Answer
Zoo/safari themes are really easy to do right now, just because the stuff to get for them is everywhere. There are more options for little girls than boys, so beyond "zoo" if you want a matching crib set you don't have to spend big bucks or forever to find you are kind of stuck to marine/nautical, sports, or vehicles. There are a lot of sock monkeys everywhere these days, so that's what I did for the nursery but man, finding a crib set was a hassle!

I've also seen a really cute little golden books theme, where they bought some old little golden books at good will and then took apart the binding and framed some of the pages for the walls, then just stuck with simple traditional toys for the rest, like his name on a shelf made out of old school wooden blocks.

How should I decorate my home with these themes?
