Teen Girl Bedroom Wall Color?

12345

My walls are currently a light shade of brown. However, I was wanting to put a little more color in my room. My comforter is brown, with green, blue, brown, and cream polka dots. Here's a picture:

I also have white bedroom furniture.
If you have any suggestions as to how to give my room more color, other than painting the walls, please tell me!

Answer
Hello Kimberly! Congratulations on the beautiful comforter. With the white bedroom furniture as a neutral, consider using lime green and /or teal blue solid pillows as accents for the bed. Add some teal, Tiffany blue, or light blue colored curtain or drapes. Maybe consider a light or lampshade in a similar shade of blue. A rug would be great in a solid medium or dark brown.

If the teal and lime green are too âheavyâ for you, consider accenting with a medium pink to counter the bold green and brown as pillows, curtains, and lampshades. This may even be dramatic as a wall color.

With the design in the comforter, consider using a wall print or create your own by taking 4 pictures of a small section the comforter (like the large color zoom view), printing them on a color printer, and framing them on the wall.

Best wishes and happy decorating!

Any ideas for my bedroom wall?

Grace

I'm not allowed to paint my wall, and I have NO money what-so-ever to spend. I want some cool ideas for stuff to stick up on my wall.
I don't have any posters, I like drawing, but I don't want 1 whole wall full of drawings.
What sort of things should I put up?
P.S I'm a 13 year old girl.
P.P.S I know I have already asked this question in another category, but I have had no good answers.

Hello

im a 15 year old girl and i am giving my room a makeover ( new curtains, painting the walls, and painting my chair and bookcase, new bed covers) i have i lilac carpet which i dont like but i cant change. i also have white furniture, which is sort of off white. i was going to have dark pink curtains, ivory coloured walls, and lots of things on the wall like posters, pictures etc. but im not sure about it now. i want my room to have a warm cosy feel to it. what colours should i go for?

I'd go with beige walls. Nice and simple, but cozy, and it matches.

14 year old girl remodeling her bedroom?! [[pictures included]]?

Q. I am going into high school and i want a change in my room. I love bright colors. Which is what my room is now. I have orange and sea foam green walls which was cool at the time but now it just feels to busy. My room is very small (9'x11') and i have a big twin bed with no storage under it, and wooden antique dresser, a wooden antique desk, a wooden chest under my window covered in blue fuzzy material, and 2 storage units on wheels(3 drawers on top of each other) finally, i have 3 wall shelves and purple carpet.
The only things i cant get rid of are the bed, dresser and the carpet.
I was thinking about painting it brown and blue, but i dont know? and i am kinda on a budget, because i just redid my room last year.

All and any ideas welcome!! Thanks

You should try using a virtual room designer:
http://www.findanyfloor.com/VirtualRoomDesigner.xhtml
That's the link right there. It's a great online tool to virtually design your room. Change the wall colors, the ceiling colors, trim, the flooring options and more. Try on different options and see what you like and what you don't like. There are bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, living room, and dining room options! Also, on this same site there is an advertisement by Shaw Flooring. You can actually upload your own photo and virtually design your room (for free) before buying anything! its amazing! HAVE FUN! :) Hope this helps!
