What do you think is a cute theme for a baby girl nursery?

Choose whatever you like. This is the only time in her life that you'll get complete say on the décor. As she gets older, she'll have her own opinions. :-)

The room we were going to use as a nursery had just been painted bright blue when we found out that, surprise, I was pregnant. Since we'd just painted it, it was going to stay blue, boy or girl. I found a bedding set with ladybugs, butterflies, flowers, etc. in bright colors, and we based the room on that, even getting a ladybug rug for the floor. It was cute, and I was very happy with it.

I'm having a baby girl in the fall and I need to start getting her nursery together but cannot come up with a good " theme " any ideas? I love modern things, I don't want anything like a disney princess room, or a Winnie the pooh room, I want something unique and modern, maybe suggest some colors, or websites, or ideas of your own? thanks so much.

They have tons of cute stuff for baby nurseries and some unique and modern items too! I love the color purple on walls and I think it looks great with white or black furniture! I think it looks clean cut and modern. For the decor, there are tons of options! You could do shapes or add fun and modern wall decals on one of the walls. (I like butterflies too).

wall decor for girl and boy sharing?

my 2yr old son and 4yr ol daughter are sharing a room together for the first time. I'm looking into some peel & stick wall decor for them but need some ideas on what to get so that its a mutual decor. Amazon has dinosaurs, princess, sesame street, trucks, balloons, butterflies, action figures, numbers etc so many to chose from. I want an item that can go across the whole room vs one side for her one for him. any ideas?

It seems to me like polka dots would work and maybe balloons too.

Baby Shower Ideas for Butterfly/Fairy Theme?

My friend & I are throwing a baby shower for my friend's sister in law. She's 8 months preggers & having a girl. The theme is either butterflies or fairies (Natalie wants fairies, we want butterflies for the easier ideas). Any suggestions on food, decor, prizes and games? I have some ideas, but im not really sure at this point.The date for the shower is Feb 21.
Colors are lavender, plum & yellow. & thanks for that cute suggestion Brady's mom!

What a pretty theme!!

You could get little butterflies (from the dollar store or something) and place them all over the room where the party will be.. in plants, on picture frames, over doors... ect.. and not tell the guests about them. Obviously they'll notice some here and there, but near the end of the shower, pass out a piece of paper and pen and tell them to close there eyes and mark down the number of butterflies they think are hidden in the room.
