Looking for a place that makes custom wall stickers for a kids room.?

mommyof1

I am trying to find an online store that can make large wall stickers for my children's play room. I have an idea of what I want and can't find it anywhere online so I would love if I could find a place that could make them from pictures/ideas I give them. Online or in the Phoenix are would be ideal. Any suggestions would be great!

I need help decorating my kids room with a video game theme.?

Cre8tivemo

My kids (1 boy and 1 girl) love the Nintendo wii, mainly super mario brothers. I would love to decorate their room in a game theme. So far the only thing I can come up with is. My daughter which is 6 years old drew pictures of Mario, Yoshi, Toad, Indiana Jones plus she is going to draw some more and I would like to frame them and display them in their room. But so far this is all I came up with. I am very surprised Nintendo hasn't made a bedspread with the wii logo or even with Super Mario brothers out so long, I would of thought they would of had one with the characters on it. Please help I need ideas and cant do anything too expensive. Thanks everyone
I found this online and thought it was the cutest thing ever. But I am sure that cost some money and I live in a apartment.

You can also print pics of the characters onto iron on transfers, and put onto throw pillows.
I wasn't able to find bedding, but you could use a pic of the characters, and go to one of those places where you can put a picture on a throw blanket. http://www.printablememories.com/photoblankets.html
(how cute would it be to have your kids dress up as mario characters, take their picture, and put it on a throw blanket, then just get a solid comforter in matching hues, and put the throw over it)

Can you tell me some ways to organize a kid's room in a pretty way?

Answer
Creating a jungle theme kids bedroom is an opportunity to use really fun colors and prints. Consider painting the room a fresh green or a bright yellow to provide a warm and exotic backdrop for the rest of the room's elements.

Instead of typical window treatments, think about getting some silk vines and foliage from the craft store and draping them around the windows as you would with a scarf curtain. Then perch stuffed parrots or monkeys nearby to round out the jungle canopy effect.

You can use jungle themed bedding, or simply use bright solids and stripes, and accent the room with throw pillows in animal-print fabrics. There are several sources for wall stickers in a jungle theme to add even more visual interest.

Fairy Tale Princess Themes

Many elements of décor for little girls' rooms lend themselves to dreaming of once upon a time and far, far away. From canopy beds to eyelet and lace and pale pink, you may already have many of the elements in place to make your daughter's room a real Princess's room. To bring the fantasy one or two step closer to reality, rely on some paint techniques and a few choice accessories.

Paint the ceiling a sky blue and sponge paint on some clouds; turn the walls of your girl's room into castle walls with faux painting techniques, and embellish them with stenciled runners of ivy â you can even add some silk ivy from the craft store for additional dimension. Swath tulle or silk flowers where you'd otherwise put a valance and curtains, and be sure to add a stuffed frog prince someplace in the room ⦠just for a bit of whimsy!

How would I go about designing an Audrey Hepburn bedroom?

Lulu

My room is teeny tiny and my mum is allowing me to do whatever I want to it, I want an Audrey Hepburn style room, my family has bought me a few pictures. What colour scheme/furniture would look best to work with the theme? I am 16 next month if thats important...
She was an old hollywood actress

Tada!

Answer
Audrey Hepburn was a very stylish lady of the times. She was most famous in films in the 1950's. So I would choose things from that era.

She worn pearls, tight waist belts to show off her tiny waistline, she carried a fashionable purse always and a hat.
She was always very put together.

One of the ideas in decorating in that time frame was to do a black and white decor with splashes of pinks, blacks or grays. Sometimes reds. They had silver fabrics too with lots of shimmer and elegance.
Choose things with lots of sparkle she was a Hollywood star!
Poka-dots were really in fashion.

Furniture was a modern now retro style, very streamline in style or to the other extreme of curves more Victorian in style and often in white or deep wood tones. Tufted headboards on the beds with tacks.
Art nouveau mirrors , elegant chairs, Chrystal glass sparkly lamps.
You can likely find much of the furniture are used stores or Salvation Army stores. A little paint or furniture polish they will look new again.

Here are some links to some decals of dots to carry through the idea of poka-dots onto your walls. The poka-dots were usually black on pink or black or red on white. You could paint your room pink and put some dots all over a wall and a few scattered in limited areas on other walls to tie it in.

There is bedding on the market with dots on it to follow through with the dot design plan. Some examples on links below.

Or you could paint a large silhouette of Audrey Hepburn on one wall.
Take a look at this link to see what I mean.

When you follow the links above scroll and click on the other things on the site when you get to them. Many have lots of ideas for you.

Best wishes have fun and make the room about your love for Audrey Hepburn and your personality too.

What should I make with my glitter glue?

Kristiana

I have a lot of glitter glue, like, 5 whole bottles of it in different colors. I want to make something really cool, something that isn't a waste of time, artistic skill, and glitter glue. I have other supplies to use too, like: paper, hot glue (I have glittery hot glue, too), glitter glue, pencils, pens, markers, crayons, shalk, note cards, yarn, lots of beads, and some stickers. If you find anything time consuming and utterly cool, please tell me about it so I can put my craft tools to use!

Thanks!

Answer
There are so many things you can do with glitter glue!
Here are some great ideas from ehow.com:
http://www.ehow.com/info_8255799_glitter-glue-crafts.html

Glitter Glue Containers
Create a beautiful, glittery container to hold pens, pencils or other items. Use a clean clear glass jar. Draw a design on the jar with glitter glue. The design can represent something or can be abstract. Use various colors for a colorful effect or choose a couple of colors. You can draw simple flower designs on a jar or clear vase to create a flower vase for someone special.

Glitter Glue Ornament
Plain glass ornaments can be made beautiful when embellished with glitter glue. Create interesting designs on a glass ornament by using the tip of a glitter glue pen to leave a trail of glitter glue. The ornaments can be used as Christmas tree ornaments or, when done in pastel colors, can be used as Easter or springtime decor. Hang the ornament from an ornament stand for use all year long.

Glitter Glue Window Decorations
Lay wax paper down on the table and use glitter glue to create a design or write a message. After the glue dries, carefully peel the glue from the wax paper and use tape to hang the design or message to a window. This method can be used to make sparkly winter snowflakes or "Happy Birthday" greetings. Use multiple colors of glitter glue by allowing one color to dry before adding another colored glitter glue to the design.

Paper Crafts
Create paper crafts with glitter glue. Greeting cards are a nice craft for kids to make and give to loved ones. Create greeting cards with construction paper and other craft items. Use glitter glue to create the wording on greeting cards and other decorative elements. Use glitter glue to draw simple flower patterns on greeting card envelopes too. You can also use glitter glue to embellish other paper crafts like bookmarks.

Also, you can watch this video about glitter and glitter glue techniques and tips, as well as craft ideas:
http://store.scrapbook.com/ms-40-00001.html

Just be creative! You can add glitter glue to anything! Like cards, trinkets, painting it onto door decorations or room decorations...

Have fun!!
