what should i paint on my wall...?

my bedroom is getting boring,, so i was thinking about making stencils to paint stuff on my wallls. anyone have any suggestions of what would look cool?

btw~ i'm a 15 year old girl

If you have a strong interest in something, you could tie that into your room decor. For example, if you like butterflies or birds, they would make nice wall decorations. Stencils are usually fairly simplified pictures, so you couldn't do anything like portraits, but you could do simple animal stencils. Other ideas might be: lighthouses, hats, boats, fish, geometric designs, tinkerbell, trees like palm trees, simple outlines of mountains, shoes, favorite sport equipment like tennis racquets... the choices are endless.

You could do the stencils as a border or scattered around the room, and colors could be anything you like. It sounds like a fun project! Have fun with it.

I'm fourteen years old and I am painting my room blue. It's a blue called Mermaid Treasure, by Behr... I found the paint at my local home depot.

Hey I'm 13 and a design freak :D Everthing below is Target my FAVORITE place to get a room makeover. For your color scheme I'd go with your blue, lime greem, a chocolate brown, and if you want a dark pink (not light, we grew outta that!)

What you might want for a lamp is something fun and colorful but affordable. This a a 5 light stand lamp and the lights bend so that you can use it for extra light on your desk or aim it out into the room- $20 -

For a wall decor I would go for something that matches your color scheme, nothing that pops to much the bedding takes care of that
