Beachside Bedroom Decor?

I'm redoing my bedroom. I want it to look like a surfer/ beachside bedroom. I have light colored hard wood floors. I'm going to paint my room and get all new accessories.
What color should I paint my room? & what color bedding, rugs, & curtains? Also what accessories should I get? Lamps, signs, ect?

Colour scheme: go for light blue or sky blue for the walls but you could have one wall in a sand colour or maybe a sunset. Dark blue for bedding and maybe a rug in the same colour.

You could get an indoor palm tree style plant. Instead of curtains you could get bamboo style (or another woody look) blinds, use a see through multicoloured (with light blue, darkblue, sea green, sand) voile curtain over the blinds so you can draw the blinds up in the day and draw the voile curtains closed to give you privacy without blocking any light.

im re-doing my bedroom, and ive been trying so hard to figure out what colors it should be, first i thought i would do each wall a different color,,because i want something cute and different,, but im not sure. i dont just want one plain color, so it would be great if u could give me some ideas!
