Hey! I'm 14 years old and redecorating my bedroom. The walls are going to be painted a light green. We're not getting new furniture, but i'm getting all new wall decor, lamps, bedspreads, etc. So far we're getting :

So, you can kind of tell what look i'm going for. What other decorations might go well with these things? Thank You so much!

It looks like your going for a bit of a nature theme! I love that idea. In fact i've done something very similar in my room. The idea of bringing the outdoors in is really pretty. I have some leaves on my walls and lots of plants. One thing that I really enjoy about my room is the ceiling. I decided putting in some string lights would look cool. Here are some ideas and products I've already placed in my room
as one final comment. I used to have green walls and my favorite color was pink. PINK AND GREEN DO NOT MIX. please please do not get a hot pink lamp shade. It will make your room look like a flower!
these are the lights hanging from my ceiling

I really hope this helped. Good Luck and I hope your room looks awesome :D

I promise you, you will be VERY pleased if you leave the wall colors neutral and have more fun with the accessories.
A rule of thumb for me: I match the flooring and the wall color. Then I change the curtains, pillows, and decor for the season. Example: I have a pale gold carpet that is in beautiful condition in the media room. I hated the color. Rather than hide the color, I made the whole room the same pale gold. Then I did one wall in entirely black paint, put up a large theater screen (white with black vinyl frame), black faux leather curtains, a black leather sofa and neutral recliners. I made the trim around the room a dark oak and I get more compliments on that room than any other!
Bedroom? I matched the beige carpet with beige walls. Exact same color. In the spring, I use pale greens and yellows for my bedding and pictures. Around fall, I move to oranges and browns. I love Christmas when I decorate my bed with deep reds and greens. I even swap out a slate blue and navy set at times. Four big Tupperware containers are in my closet with pictures, candles, pottery and bedding for new bedrooms every few months. Takes about 2 hours to do the swap!
