I have a horrid lack of privacy in my bedroom, people barge in without any notice whatsoever, and since my computer faces the door, I would like to have an extra instant of privacy to close my laptop so people can't look over my shoulder and see what I'm doing, because honestly, it's none of their business. I want to hang a curtain behind my bedroom door so that if people simply barge in, I can do whatever is necessary to hide my personal things from prying eyes. My question is, exactly how would one go about doing this?
Answer
Put a lock on your door for petes sake! I cannot believe the number of people who post similar Qs here,is there no respect for privacy in your country? No-one in my household or any Australian household that I know would dare open a closed door without knocking first. You can buy those little bolt type locks in hardware stores cheap.Like the one below. They are easy to install.

Are baby brown recluse spiders on the bedroom wall harmful?
Tina
I see a baby spider crawling on the wall. I'm so scared OMG! The mother brown recluse spider must be in my room somewhere. I need to get rid of the male and female pests before they starting mating and making babies in my bedroom. I just noticed there are spiders in my bedroom every month that I see spiders. I see baby spiders and kill them at least once a month. Sometimes I'd buy bugspray and those spiders just come back reproducing more brown recluses.
Answer
First, brown recluse spiders are 'reclusive'. They are very seldom spotted. Once in a while, during mating season, you may spot an adult male wandering on or at floor level, but no females or spiderlings.(they almost never climb walls)
The recluse is only found in a region of south central US,and if you don't live there, you wont find any recluse. Because of the hyperbole, a great many people report or claim to have seen recluse spiders where they don't even exist. One spider that is often mistaken for the recluse,is as harmless as they come, the male southern house spider:

Before people run around nuking harmless spiders, they should confirm the identity of the spiders they are spotting.
People that actually live with these spiders get a laugh at all the fuss over these spiders.
Here's a map of where they are found, no red-no recluse.

and the recluse itself. note the violin pattern. 6 eyes in 3 pairs.
