my Baby nephew who is 6 months, grandmother! (my sisters mother inlaw) wants to put him on fresh milk (cow milk) is that okay??? i dont think it is??? will it hurt his tummy??.
here is my other questions
how much should you feed a baby? what should he be eating at this stage cause my sisters mother inlaw is trying to introduce him to alittle table food. she gives him mash potatos with butter in it and salt and i completely dont think that is safe at all and she also put butter in his baby food once
is it true that babys tempeture is different then an adult? is the baby really always cold?
how many times should a baby poop a day? and what if he misses a day of pooping? and is it okay to give them pablem (i dont no how to spell it) if he cant poop?.
what should my nephew take for his teething? he crys in pain once in a while and is cranky most of the time oral jell works not for that long so i usually let him bite on my CLEAN and thoroughly washed finger and he bites so so hard its so sad cause i can see how hes really enjoying biting my finger cause it counteracts his pain,
when does a child start sleeping thru the night? he usaully wakes up 2 or 3 times a night and will not go to sleep without being fed,

Stop worrying! Although grandma might be a little early with the cows milk, it is not going to hurt him. You can get a compliment to go in the milk to make sure all the vitamins and minerals are right. My kids are officially weaned from breast and bottle by 12months old. My 10 month old has been on warm cows milk for over a month now, no problems.
by six months baby should definately be getting table food!! Everything you have but put it through the blender first. Solids should start at around 4 - 5 months, starting with rice cereal, then add some stewed fruit. Mashed potatoes with salt and butter. Sweet potato, pumpkin and carrot. Zucchini, broccoli and peas. Just one or two flavours at once then build up from there. Avoid, honey, eggs, all nut products and strawberries until at least 11 - 12months.
Babies temp shouldn't be too much different from an adult. Baby should not be cold. Dress baby the same as you but with undershirt aswell.
At 6 months, baby can poop a couple of times a day. If baby goes longer than 3 - 4 days, have him drink more water. Then add brown sugar if constipation persists. Babies can go 2 weeks or more without pooping.
Give baby a dummy/pacifier to chew or teething ring. There are herbal products out there that help with restlessness due to colic, teething etc. They are like Liqourice in flavour and come in liquid drop form. In Australia it is called Infants Friend.
Baby can be sleeping through the night by 3 months old. At six months baby should be having 2 -3 day sleeps and sleeping through the night. Have baby up for a couple of hours before bed at around 7 - 8pm. To get him through the night, give several feeds during this time. Also give him a bath, tummy time aswell as some quiet time. Feed in bedroom in a chair (NOT IN BED) in the quiet and mostly dark with small soft light. Set the mood! Then when he has had enough, change into a clean nappy/diaper, offer more milk then cuddle to shoulder for a few minutes gently patting bottom (not thumping back trying to force a burp). Lay baby in bed and walk away. When laying them in bed, do not engage eye contact or talking. This only stimulates them. When baby cries, leave him cry for a few minutes before going in to them. The cry is often just because they are tired or angry. If you listen for a few minutes, they will often stop crying and listen to hear if you are coming (just like they have trained you to do!! haha!) If they get too upset, lay baby down on his side and tell him "Quiet, it is sleep time" firmly and hold his shoulder. This gives them a sense of security. As they calm down and become quiet and still, slowly release shoulder. Keep the room dark, avoid eye contact avoid stimulation.
The more you go in and pick them up though, the more stimulated, tired and angry they will become. Offer water only during the night. The more you feed them milk during the night, the more they will wake for it. It may take a few nights of persaverance but it will pay off. Good Luck!
