What color should I paint my bedroom?

I have the chance to paint my room and I would like some ideas on what colors, I have light wood furniture and ands darkish gray carpet. My walls are a light blue right now and I want a color that would make my room feel cozier but still not have it too dark. I'm 16 so I'd like a color that would welcome my friends into my room if that makes sense.

I like the yellow suggestion and also cream. Cream or beige matches anything you might choose to have in the future as well. Antique white is an off white that would also go well with any décor. Now you just have to choose the finish. You can get gloss, semi gloss or flat. Semi gloss would be my choice as it is more cleanable.

I found a really nice charcoal gray bedding set on sale. I love the color...but just realized I really don't know what wall color would go best with it? Any suggestions?

Any color..Grey is a neutral ...For the bedroom I would suggest staying away from bold colors though. I would find an item or an area rug and use that to work off of.
