What color should I paint my bedroom wall?

I have a light cherry bedroom set. The comforter has a garnet base with golds and darker reds. I have wood floors. And my wall decor is mostly reds and golds as well. Right now I have a marigold yellow color but I'm starting to realize that was the wrong choice! What would better suit this room and make it more calmer?

play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to help you imagine how the colors will look together. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. I think "threshold taupe" (# 7501) might be a good choice.
