How do you make a modern and vintage room?

How can you pull together a vintage and modern room at the same time?? My two tastes that i absolutely love are opposites :( i love extreme vintage and extreme modern. im redoing my room. HOW???

It's quite possible but you have to be careful in the furnishing & decor you select. Pop Atomic (1960s Jetson look), Op Art (also 60s with bold colors and geometrics), Scandinavian (think Eero Saarinen) & 70s vintage (aka Brady Bunch) are furniture styles that are vintage but look awesome with modern touches.

My daughters bedroom is a 70s retro with BoHo accents & animal prints, and it looks quite fantastic :)
