Ive looked through all of the popular websites like HGTV but I'm looking for more artistic and creative designs, something original.
Any good websites or ideas that would help me with the following?
Book and DVD storage, ideas for displaying photographs, and general decor tips.

How can I make my bedroom better?

I have had the same bedroom since middle school. I'm now a junior in college! I really want to make it more mature and stylish but don't know where to begin. I can't change my wallpaper but I'm down to paint, buy some new pieces, work on different projects etc to make it nicer. I need some help though. I'm not good with decorating. Any suggestions? All are appreciated.

well, you can select the paint of your chioce and make sure that you choose the rest of the furnishings and other accessories to match with it, to make your room mature, get some nice tall vases, they are in fashion these days and fill them up with artifical flowers and shrubs, you can even leave the vases empty if they are good looking enough
get a nice shelf and cabinet set, it will make it easy for you to keep the room tidy and organized as you will be able to store all your books and other important things inside the cabinet and shelf and it would add some order to your room
you can also hang some nice wall hangings and get some really good looking lights for your room, they will go a long way in reinforcing the mature theme and make the room look big
make sure you paint the room in a color that is both light and effective as only then you will be able to achive the right combination
