Wall decor/art for a teen girl's room?

we recently just painted my room a dark purple and are having a hard time finding wall decor/art to go on it. any ideas of what would look good?

I have a rather large blank wall in my living room that I am needing to fill. It has no windows, no tv, only a small tree and table with lamp. I wasn't wanting a run of the mill picture or mirror that can be bought at any store, instead i was wanting something unique (other than personal photos) i need to take up quite a bit of room here...any ideas?

I'm a big fan of etsy, where you buy from independent artists.

Not knowing your colors or themes, it is hard to make a suggestion. But remember to either go very big or get a grouping of similar objects. Prints and other artwork generally look better if they are framed with a white matte, unless they are ready to hang canvases.

Another thing I like is vintage travel posters. I really prefer ones from places you've already visited so they have personal meaning. All posters will also custom frame it for you.
