Hey,
here are some ideas :
-Make a collage in your room. Like put your favourite pictures together and format it into a nice place. (it adds colour and personality!)
-Add a lamp to make your room look cozy and calm
-Add a white or black, or pink rug to make it look cozy , calm and warm
-Put posters on your wall. Like your favourite singers, actresses/actors.
-Decorate your walls with pictures of yourself with your friends, etc.
-A sparkly chandelier
-Spray a bit of febreeze or air freshener to make your room smell nicer and cooler! I do that all the time lol. It's calms everything down :)
- On your wall, just add anything that describes you
-You can make your room all pink and black. With zebra designs. I think that's really cool :)
Or if you don't like that, then you can make it in a blue colour, which make its more calm looking and sweet too!
good luck and i hope i helped! :)

Any ideas on how to decorate my 2 bd/2bth home on a budget on $1000?

I already have one bedroom and bathroom decorated, but that still leaves the dinning room, living room, and the other bedroom and bathroom.
Answer
spending money on paint is always a good/cheap idea...painting a room a fun/different color adds so much.
Also, buy some posters (abstract/flowers/black and white) for cheap (try online at allposters.com) and then frame them yourself (you can usually find frames 50% off at a craft store i.e. Michaels, Hobby Lobby, Joanne Fabrics etc.)...it's cheaper than buying framed art, but looks just as nice. A nice touch is to buy three or four pieces that have the same feel and group them together on the wall in a line or square.
If you live by an IKEA, they have relatively cheap furniture and very fun decor
Good Luck!
