I want lifesize men and women made out of whatever - just need them for an event we are doing. Where in the world can I find things like this to buy? Perhaps I could commission someone to fabricate them for me? I don't even know where to find someone artsy to help me with that. please advise.

You could try approaching someone at a local graphic arts college or technical school -- one of the instructors might welcome something like this as an assignment for the students with an opportunity for them to get exposure at the event. Offer a nominal prize for the most interesting materials used as an incentive, say a couple hundred dollar gift certificate to an art supply store. You would get quite a variety of mannequins via this route.
The other option is to find a "prop shop" -- these are places that rent display items, costumes, furnishings, etc. to store window decorators and theatrical companies. Most major cities have one or more of these.
If there is an IKEA store near you, they used to sell life-sized standing flat wire sylized outlines of a man and a woman (I think they were so hang clothes on in a bedroom or just for decor). These are not 3-D but they were fairly cheap -- don't know if they still sell them.

really i want to do my bedroom in the roman empire days. when the women wore those Sari's, the long flowing gowns that are usually tide at the shoulder. like greek goddesses lounging about eating grapes.
well any who where can i find mural wall paper that has that scene?
i live in Boston so can someone tell me where i can find a store around me?
oh and how much does it cost?
