We are due a baby boy in april And live in a 2 bedroom house. My partners daughter comes to stay with us every 2nd weekend! Room is pink everything at the moment, I really want to make room a babies room, he will be my first child, I need ideas on making this a baby boys/ 4 yr old girls rm xx pls

In my opinion, I wouldn't worry about balancing out the baby's need with the 4 year-old daughters needs, since she is only there 4 days or so a month. But to make it fair(er), you can choose a neutral color for the walls and just be sure to give the daughter her own "space" in the room where she can express herself or where the design reflects her personality and interests. If she is keen on pink, she can always have pink bedding and accent pillows...

What is your opinion on using a sturdy twig to use as a curtain rod in my log home? Any other cabin/lodge decorating suggestions? Small budget not too crafty. Thank you!
