I've wanted to do something new to my room for a while, something to spice it up, make it more interesting,
Me and my bf have been moving a lot lately, we moved like four times in the past two years, so I haven't really gotten to set up my stuff or decorate. We just moved and we plan on staying here, so I want to make my room MINE.

I'm 22, i dont like boy bands or anything TOO girly, I like neat, interesting things, I'm verry creative so i can make things as well. Any ideas, suggestions or sites on things I can do to it? I dont need new furniture or anyhting, and im not painting the walls,I just want to add little touches here and there. put things on the walls and stuff, someone once said somthing about using old c.ds to decorate things? who knows. ANYthing helps though!!! thanks

also I dont have any shelve, any ideas on what else i can use to put candles and ornamints on? - besides buying a shelf :P

Answer
I think the reason why no one has answered your question until now is b/c you're asking advice that is really very personal to each individual. None of us can tell you what things will make *you* comfortable in *your* room.

That said, there are things you can do to inspire yourself to create your own decor. Look at magazines like Domino, Better Homes & Gardens, Budget Decorating, Country Living, etc. and note things in the photos that you like & could do in your room.

Watch HGTV and also check out the before & after photos online for more ideas:

The show "Find Your Style" even has a quiz you can take & other tips:

You could also start your decorating process by choosing a theme for your room. It could be just a color or something you like, such as Mexican pottery, cats, angels, whatever -- and then find pictures, artwork, bedding, curtains, et al that enhance that theme. Soon your room will be full of things that make you feel at home.

As for your shelf issue, just put the candles & decorations on the nightstand or dressers or even in the window sill.

Shakespeare's 'The Taming of the Shrew'?

Where was 'The Taming of the Shrew' set, now I understand that there is about two or three places where the play is set and please only put it down if you are 100% sure.

The action in the induction takes place in the English countryside, first on a heath in front of an alehouse and then in a bedroom in the house of a lord. The action in the five-act play takes place in various locations in Padua, Italy, and at a house in the nearby countryside. Padua is in northern Italy on the Bacchiglione River. Padua is about 30 miles west of Venice.
