Pregnant- need help with room/furniture themes!?

A person

I just found out that I'm pregnant with twin boys. I already have two other boys, and since we have to make room for the babies anyway, my husband are doing a little remodeling.

We want to put my boys Gabe (7) and Parker (4) in one room and the twins Blake and Bentley in another room. The rooms are conjoined by the bathroom though, which we really like. The twins room will be jungle themed, and the older boys will be sports themed.

For the twins, we are looking for cribs, dressers, high chairs, and anything else that revolves around the jungle theme.

For the older boys room, we are looking for beds, dressers, and anything else that revolves around the sports them.

And lastly, my husband and I need help with car-seats for the twins. What brand should we go with?

Links to websites/pictures/stores would be great! The more specific, the better. Thank you!

Answer
The safest car seat is one that fits your child, your vehicle, and is used correctly each and every time. The brand of the car seat doesn't matter.

Never buy a car seat unless your try it out in your vehicle. Not all car seats fit all cars. You need to find the one that will fit your vehicle (and preferably easy to install). Toys R Us will let you try out the display model in your car. Car crashes are the leading cause of both disability and death for children under 12 years of age in the United States. Statistics show that 95% of car seats are used or installed incorrectly. Car seat manuals ARE confusing, so please get your seat checked by a child passenger safety technician (CPST). It should be absolutely FREE to get your seat checked. You can find one at http://www.seatcheck.org/ State laws provide very minimal levels of protecting children in car crashes. I have many links regarding best practice. (I hope these links are helpful)!

On every rear facing car seat, the harness needs to be positioned at or slightly below the shoulders. It is important because in a crash, the child will slide toward the top of the car seat shell. Infant car seats are outgrown rather quickly, usually within 6-12 months. If you still want the convenience of an infant car seat, I would go with the Britax B-Safe or the Graco Snugride 35 as they have really slow slots for the harness. The Graco Snugride 35 has an approximate low slot of 6 inches with the infant pad. The Britax B-Safe has naturally slow slots so you don't have to use any infant inserts- the lowest slot is about 5 and 1/2 inches. There are more car seats, that fit newborns- the idea is to get your tape measure out and measure the lowest slot. I would go with a slot less than 7 inches. The Chicco Key Fit 30 is also a good car seat for newborns. Just remember that some infant seats come with infant inserts that may not be on the display model. This will affect measurements.

Did you know that a rear facing child is 5 times safer than a front facing child? The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that all child remain rear facing in convertible car seats until they are at LEAST 2 years old. They recommend this for a very important reason. Those reasons are described in the next two links:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kvyIv9QVRBE
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q8gU9zzCGA8

Also, best practice dictates to keep kids in a harness until they are mature enough for a booster seat. Most kids aren't mature enough for a booster until they are around age 5-7. Click the video below to learn the safety benefits of keeping kids in a 5 point harness longer
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5m0hipjB-d8

A booster seat's job is to position the adult seat belt correctly on a child. An ill-fitting seat belt can cause severe injury in a crash. Kids need to use a booster seat until they past the 5 step test which is descibed in the links. Most kids need to be using boosters until they are 10-12 years old.

animal theme ideas?

melissa p

I just started a new job the preschool is not opened yet the walls are bare and i have to decorate the classroom in an animal theme any ideas?? There are no kids yet so i can't put up the children's art yet?

Answer
What fun! I would suggest you use zoo/jungle or farm animals...number 1--- they are very easy themes to find ideas and material. And number 2---all kids like them!

Remember you don't want it TOO busy. And you want to leave room for children's work.

Let's see- You would need a number chart. You can make your own tactile numbers (sand paper or printed on cardstock and traced with glitter glue). Then if you have a die cut machine add the corresponding number of animals or cut out your own. Laminate for durability if possible. Put down at children's level so they can experience the tactile numbers and count the animals.

You are going to want an alphabet chart. Add items that go with your theme. Or purchase a theme related alpha chart.

Color and/or shape display--it's fun the have an animal holding a shape or an animal that is a specific color. It is OKAY to use a "purple cat" so to speak. Be sure to have Brown Bear Brown Bear book in your library. It is also a jumping board for fantasy and reality.

Add simple animal clipart to your center signs.

Have a children's b.b. if you can. Start it with blue paper sky and green grass and the words such as "on the farm" across the top. Have simple animal cut outs at easel and art for painting and collages and put them up on the b.b.

Just adding theme related material to your centers are going to become a bit of "decoration". Be sure to add a book on display at each center!

Good luck...as you can tell I tend to keep my space very simple and everything has a use :-) I find that the less "busy" it is the calmer the children are.

Do not feel bad about leaving some bare space for children's art work...if you don't wish to explain it...just add a fun saying in bulletin board letters over the bare space such as... Check out what our class artists' have been work on! The parents will get the point.

Green and Brown Teenage Bedroom?

I have lime green and brown in my bedroom. I am a fourteen year old girl. I can't paint my walls....Any tips for me? I would like to keep these colors, but I would like a few decorating ideas. Here are the things I already have:

-Brown comforter
-Lime green plush throw (for my bed)
-Lime green throw pillow (again, for my bed)
-Brown bulletin board
-Lime green small bin for my CD's
-Small organizer with lime green drawers (the canvas kind)
-Two small lime green baskets for my things (there on the top shelf of my closet)

I took off my closet doors so it's more open. I would like any decorating and organizing tips!! Thanks in advance!

*Again; I can't paint!!! And I have a small space.

Answer
Well, maybe you should get some door beads to seperate your closet, or some track curtains - sheer.

Do you have windows? Get some curtains! Maybe a little window bench to put in front, with some pillows?
I think you need a rug, a big brown or green spotted rug maybe? With some floor pillows or a lounge chair, like a beanbag or foldup round one.

Maybe some new lighting? How about those big round oriental looking lights? or a framed mirror? You could get some abstract art that you can make, paint, draw or you can take some photographs - even buy them and frame them in different sized frames: http://www.roomzaar.com/rate-my-space/Girls-Rooms/UpdatedDaughters-room/detail.esi?oid=6689841

Some rooms, check out the decorating:

http://www.roomzaar.com/rate-my-space/Girls-Rooms/Green-and-Brown-Girls-Room/detail.esi?oid=6283188

You can get some underbed drawers, or put up some shelves on your walls for more organizing.
Get some candles and put them on top of your nightstand - maybe a cute abstract vase with long beautiful flowers? Something mature and classy?

Add different shades and textures of green accessories, and brown - like this bed: http://www.roomzaar.com/rate-my-space/Girls-Rooms/Green-and-Brown-Girls-Room/detail.esi?oid=6283188

A little pricey, but just for ideas search around:

Good luck.

Bedroom re-design! :D?

Mr.bojangl

Hey yahoo!
I`m 16 and have been looking at different bedroom styles for a little while now.
I have a gargantuan maple dresser and a mattress and a box spring LOL
the bed frame was ready to die so i got rid of it the walls are painted a creamy brown and the molding of course, white. can anyone give me some ideas or point me in the right direction on how to decorate my room a bit? i really like the asian influence in decor. But can i do that with maple wood? Any ideas you can give are appreciated. thank you!

BTW: my blinds are dark blue ^*^

Answer
Asian Contemporary Bedroom

Host Joan Steffend and designer Todd Kukral give a childish bedroom a grown-up, Asian-influenced makeover.

The makeover starts by painting the walls a mustard-brown color. The mustard color would go great with your dark blue blinds. A textural, masculine headboard is crafted from scrap wood. Small blocks of cedar wood are cut to different thicknesses. They are then randomly adhered onto a large piece of plywood to create a woven effect. To complete the sculptural piece, dark stain is applied. The bed is dressed with a green duvet cover which is embellished with a hand-drawn bamboo tree design. Store-bought pillows tied up with ribbon and bamboo add the perfect finishing touch to the bed. New paper lanterns are hung over the homeowner's bedside tables.

Paint $45, headboard $67, bedding $31 and paper lanterns $16

paint: The Home Depot - Brown Mustard 360D-7
duvet, sheet set, brown pillows: Target - 60140063, 60140055 and 67120179
paper lantern: Ikea - 12690
fabric puff paint: Michael's - Hot Chocolate 17754113184
ribbon and bamboo: Michael's

Help with a Parisian themed bedroom?

LEANNE

We are moving house next month and I want to make my daughters room special.
Her room is medium sized and a blank canvas at the minute. I don't have a budget to buy expensive one piece items but I'm not on a tight budget for the overall cost of the room.

So we were thinking Parisian. What sort of colors would you suggest and flooring? She is only 4 and likes whimsical, retro things so would like it to be in that style. Maybe the walls being more so like that and just bedding and furnishings to tie it in. Any ideas/suggestions would be great. I really don't know what colours to go for or how to dress the windows so please help me with this!

Thanks xx

Also we're in the UK

Answer
The old world charm of a Parisian bedroom theme has grown in popularity in the new millennium. Parisian-style bedroom decor adds worldly ambiance to the space. Find inspiration for your room's design in a Paris cafe, a Paris salon or the French countryside. French art, accessories, images and objects will give your bedroom a romantic Parisian feel.

Color Palettes

A typical Parisian theme color palette features neutral beige tones with gold. Other color schemes lean toward pink on pink, pink on black, or blue on green. Knowing the color palette first will help guide the design, enabling you to incorporate the appropriate colors throughout the bedroom. Parisian-inspired accents and a black-and-pink color scheme will create the chic French flair indicative of the heart of Paris. This bold color scheme can include other warm neutral tones, or can be kept exclusive.

Parisian Inspired Walls and Ceilings

Walls displaying Parisian-inspired art or accents will bring the theme to life. Parisian-inspired wall decal stickers set the tone of the design. Eiffel Tower-themed wallpaper and faux chandeliers create other possibilities for the walls and ceilings. Horizontal and vertical stripes are also commonly found in Parisian bedrooms. A mismatched photo wall displaying French art or personal pictures in various types of frames will create a bohemian Paris boutique feel.

Furniture

Parisian-style bedroom furniture functions as a focal point in the design. A black or dark brown canopy bed frame creates a more contemporary look, while a distressed wrought-iron bed frame recalls a classic Parisian cafe. Vintage Versailles-inspired tables, desks and chairs with skinny and sculpted legs also help complete the look.

Accessories

Parisian-inspired accessories will make the theme truly come to life in your bedroom. One accessory every Parisian themed bedroom needs is the Eiffel Tower. Available Eiffel Tower accessories include pillows, wall decals, bedding, clocks, candle holders, sculptures, photos and wall art. Hang paintings, prints or posters of Paris scenes for an authentic feel. Incorporate a floating shelf or deep windowsill displaying French art and accessories for a finishing touch.

Art/wall decor for teen bedroom?

Breinn

My room was recently re-painted. The walls are a tan color with one accent wall that is a cornflower/periwinkle blue. I would like some ideas on cheap DIY ideas for my walls. Something like cutting a picture in half or thirds and putting it on picture frames in a sequence. Pictures of the craft would be great just so I can get a feel of what it looks like.

Answer
You could do so much with those colors. What color is your furniture? If the dresser is white or oak, I would get pictures that have primarily light pink, green or/and yellow and bring the room together. Try to use the same color of furniture for the frames. If you have a dark wood like mahogany or cherry use white frames to lighten up the room or you could even print out a sepia tone print with white frames and put them on the blue toned wall to bring unity with the tan wall. The other question is your floors...I would guess a tan as well since it wasn't mentioned. If so, you could add a small rug that is the primary color you have splashed around within the pictures and nick nacks in your room. Don't forget throw pillows. Those can really make a huge difference in bringing the room together. (I would stay away from bright red, black, and hunter green stick with the lighter more spring/youthful colors.)

Bedroom ?

I'm going to re-do my bedroom
And this probably like a one time thing so I don't to screw this up
I want a mature room
Please no pbteen.com because there really expensive
I need to pick:
1. A color for my room
2. A new desk
3. And beds stuff like sheets, blankets, and decorative pillows
4. And new carpet (like a color)

Answer
my room is a cream/white colour with one feature wall which is a light pinky musky beige tinted brown (i know it sound like a weird colour but it looks pretty mature)
http://renovate.realestate.com.au/popup?source=136037&imageNo=1
http://www.dominomag.com/images/galleries/paint/gasl_paintpalette_05oct.jpg
(those are just pictures of the colours thats not actually my room, though i love the chair!)

one my feature wall i created a little art work collage type thing where i got a bunch of weird postcards that btw have nothing to do with travelling of countries these postcards have pictures of really random stuff! anyways i have the post cards arranged in a tile like collage (the collage is in the middle of the wall) then i found a artworks by catherine campbell which are kooky and indie and i have one on each side of the collage.

http://www.dominomag.com/images/galleries/paint/gasl_paintpalette_05oct.jpg
http://www.r-n-d.net/fileadmin/images/issue5/ccFront.jpg

and around the walls i have black and white framed pictures of new york which is a place i love! and im a little obsessive compulsive so they're arrange straight and evenly spaced
like on one wall i have 3 little ones descending like a stairecase and the others are just hung around the room
http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2033/2232722236_ceef21cb61.jpg?v=0
i have one big tour poster (of the strokes :D) and thats about all the posters i have cause too many posters make your room look childish

one way to make your room mature is having old furniture for a vintage/indie type feel stick with plain dark or light colours nothing too bright or colourful
dont have mismatch walls like one with green one with pink one with yellow etc it throws you off after a while
have all the furniture in similar colour ranges like have them all in one shade of brown

heres a few examples

Answer
Paint your walls dark blue

get a white or white and blue comforter (main colours on the bags)

get shopping bags from there - they are usually nice and thick cardboard almost with pictures of the models on them - cut out the front and back of the bags and frame them for wall decoration

also for other accessories go into the store and just really pay attention to if they have lamps or anything in the store and use that as inspiration

Cafe-themed bedroom decor ideas?

LedZep67

I'm a huge Jeff Buckley fan and am redesigning my bedroom with a NY coffeehouse/cafe theme (somewhat inspired by Live at Sin-e). I'm painting my room navy blue, and I'm looking for a comforter and some other decor ideas. I'm going to get some coffee scented candles and I just got a nice new stereo, but I need some other ideas for this. Any ideas are appreciated, especially help finding a fitting comforter. Thanks!

Answer
Are you sure you want navy blue walls? Unless your room is very large, navy blue walls will make your room look very small. It will also be a pretty dark room so make sure to use a lot of light colored accessories.

Personally, I think tan walls would look better and tie into your theme better. I'd use a color like Sherwin Williams Chilled Champagne with off white trim. I would make navy/brown/beige white your color palette.

I would get simple bedding. If the walls are navy, I would get beige or brown bedding. If the walls are beige, I would get navy getting. Keep it simply with something that combines beige/navy with white. No flowers or bold prints:
http://www.bellahomefashions.com/hotel-borderline-white-navy-blue-7pc-duvet-comforter-cover-set-p3360.html
http://www.amazon.com/Pieces-Caprice-Coffee-Comforter-Double/dp/B001GXASD4
http://www.target.com/Home-Hotel-Comforter-Set-Tan/dp/B001JIAUBQ
If you really want a pattern, go simple:
http://www.target.com/DwellStudio-Target-Duvet-Set-Leaves/dp/B000WXYISA/qid=1206769129/ref=br_1_5/602-3607413-3689403?ie=UTF8&node=1101048&frombrowse=1&rh=&page=1&AFID=Performics_kaboodle.com&LNM=Primary

I would get a hanging chalkboard (very coffee house):
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=24572626
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=20157368
Coordinate the ribbon with you bedding

I would get a decal for over your bed, either song lyrics http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=6837128&section_id=6071980 (this seller could probably do a custom Jeff Buckley lyric) or music notes http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=20185795&ref=sr_gallery_12&&ga_search_query=decal+lyrics&ga_search_type=handmade&ga_page=&order=date_desc&includes[]=tags&includes[]=title Either way, get a color that contrasts with your wall white or off white for tan, dark brown for beige, etc.

I like this for a bedside lamp:
http://www.bellacor.com/productdetail/467011.htm

Then get 3-5 posters of your favorite bands and stick them in frames that match the color of your furniture.

Q. Okay.. so Im trying to redo my room a bit and not too much though. Ive had my room vintage paris theme for a while but only want to make it look not so kiddish. Im taking down some of my antique dolls so my room doesn't look like a kids bedroom. Im keeping my room light brown white and black but can you give me ideas more a more grown up style vintage paris room? also I really want to know Ideas for bed sets, mine was made in 1930 but it getting too old and its making weird noises and I need a good comforter to go with it. :) thanks
hah. well I have an antique vanity with a mirror so I dont want a mirror but I will go down to the store to find a good conforter with lace. what about hutches?

Answer
I love the Paris theme! You could hang up big pictures/posters of paris. -Go to the picture section in JoAnn Fabrics. They have tons of sophisticated/fancy-looking posters and pictures of places around the world, like Paris, France. If you go to Target they have really cool French decor for walls! For a bed set, I would choose an elegant white wooden frame/headboard. I would also choose maybe a pretty floral comforter. -Black & white? I would go to Target or maybe Pottery Barn for a comforter. They always have tons pretty designs! -Like Liberty of London at Target. Hope this helped! <3

What bedroom decor for teen girls do you like?

smile

wow thanks all of u!!!!!!!!!!!!

Answer
Im a teenager, so I sure hope I can help you out!:)
In my bedroom, it's really nice to have a place to sit down with your friends and chill out and listen to music and just talk and stuff, so I really like the bean bag chairs we have at my house. I just recently painted my room my two favorite colors, every other wall, blue and green. My bed is metallic purple. I like pretty bright colors, but they have to go together, at least somewhat. I have posters all over my walls. On my windows i have washable markers where my friends sign there names and a quote. I have a CD rack and boombox. I also have a bulletin board where I can put awards like ribbons and pictures of me and friends or family, etc. Another really nice thing to have is a desk where I can do homework and write in my journal and such. I have a bookshelf, because I read a lot. One thing you shouldn't get though I think is a TV in your bedroom, it's so addicting! I have a big closet. If I could have a nice rug I would get one. That's about it!:) Hope this helped.

Beachside Bedroom Decor?

Tori

I'm redoing my bedroom. I want it to look like a surfer/ beachside bedroom. I have light colored hard wood floors. I'm going to paint my room and get all new accessories.
What color should I paint my room? & what color bedding, rugs, & curtains? Also what accessories should I get? Lamps, signs, ect?

Answer
Colour scheme: go for light blue or sky blue for the walls but you could have one wall in a sand colour or maybe a sunset. Dark blue for bedding and maybe a rug in the same colour.

You could get an indoor palm tree style plant. Instead of curtains you could get bamboo style (or another woody look) blinds, use a see through multicoloured (with light blue, darkblue, sea green, sand) voile curtain over the blinds so you can draw the blinds up in the day and draw the voile curtains closed to give you privacy without blocking any light.

Have a look at these for some inspiration:

I re-did my bedroom and I don't like it!?

Erin

So... I'm 16 and wanted a older, prettier, kind of hang out place in my bedroom. My bedroom used to be a light blue with horse wallpaper border on the top of the walls. We took off the wallpaper (which is great!) and repainted the walls. Three of the walls are creme and one wall is dark purple. I HATE it! It's awful... the creme looks like yellow and I don't like the purple. Originally, I was going for a vintage look, then bohemian, and now it just looks ugly. I got a comforter from Bed, Bath, and Beyond yesterday that I thought I liked, but it looks too much like a little kid comforter. I don't know what to do! My parents payed a bunch of money on the paint, so I can't repaint. Please, please, please help me! I would love to keep the vintage theme I liked at first. How can I do that? Pictures would be great!

Answer
Hey, what's wrong with creme and purple? Is it really purple or a kind of plum color. Sounds good to me. ANyway, if you don't like it, try pretty sheets or Eastern INdian style tablecloths to hang on the wall. You can do all kinds of things with fabrics. Some people like tapestries for the wall; but, sometimes these can be expensive to purchase and labor intensive to make. Try some huge pieces of fabric--go wild with it, doesn't hurt anything and you can always take it down for a change.

Drape the fabric, bunch it up, tie it with ribbons, do all kinds of stuff.

Put a picture collage on that wall. Got some old calendars, cut out the pictures and use in the collage--put up some old timey actors and singers--Humphrey Bogart, Dracula, stuff like that.

Is that comforter convertable--turn it on the other side. Sew some lace (or other fabric) around the edges of that comforter--personalize it! Get some pillows in some wild color and decorate that bed. You might find that you like that comforter after all. Where's your imagination?

I dont know what to do.... Can anyone whos creative help?

Q. Ok, well i am usually really creative and i love to draw. I really want to draw but i don't know what to draw. I want it to be something fun like not a fruit basket or something. i like interesting things. I like drawing dragons and people, but i want somthing different. I also draw unicorns. Thanks!

Answer
Well, since you like drawing unicorns, you could change the pace by going more realistic and drawing horses grazing in a field...or you could stick with fantasy by drawing pegasus (winged horse). Or maybe even a fantasy type theme with a combination of things like fairies and elves...or a knight on a horse or pegasus fighting a dragon.

Your best bet might be to go for things you enjoy...look at books with the types of pictures you like. Or, since you like drawing people, you could go to the park and sketch kids playing or parents chatting (if it's not too cold), or a coffee shop and just sketch what you see...

There are a lot of ways you could get inspiration, including maybe even watching TV shows with a lot of vivid color, beautiful ocean or mountain scenes (sorry...watching one right now on PBS lol), flipping through books, or even sketching what you see looking out your bedroom window.

Good luck!

Ideas for a toddler's bedroom?

HOLLISTER

My 3 and 6 year olds share a bedroom, and i earned a little bit of money so I decided to redo their rooms. does anyone have any ideas on what toys to buy? or furniture? Thanks
They are both boys and love boats

Answer
Are they boys? Girls? What are their interests?

I would paint one wall with 2 sail boats and some waves....let them paint some fish...or put up those sticky picutes of fish in the water.

Even if you are not artisitic you could draw a sail boat. Draw it in pensil first then fill it in with colorful paint.

Find some simple or solid comforters, sew some pillows with boat print for decoration and maybe have them color some pictures of a boat and frame them on the walls for decoration as well

Here's an example of an easy sailboat you should be able to draw....

Nursery/Room Decor for boy & girl...?

Q. I'm getting more and more excited as my pregnancy continues. I know I'm only 8-9 weeks, but I'm going to have so much to do before the new baby gets here.

My husband, daughter, and I live in a two bedroom house. My husband and I have a room, and my daughter is in the other. Right now her room is a cream color on top and a honey color wood from mid wall to floor. Her room is decorated in a pink, purple, and green ladybug and flowers theme. All of her furniture is honey colored wood.

She and the new baby will have to share this room. I will eventually be moving her to a toddler bed and have the crib for the new baby. (I plan to put the new baby in a bassinet in my room to begin with).

If this baby is a girl, then I will have no problems in decorating. Just more pink will be fine. But what if its a boy? Any ideas on decor for a shared room for a boy and girl.

I was thinking maybe a farm theme? Maybe give her cow print bedding or something with a little pink, and can use the farm for a boy?

Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Building on is not an option right now, but may be later...

Answer
The farm thing sounds cute - anything animal related, forest, rain forest, frogs etc . . . is good for a co-ed room.

I have boy/girl twins in the same room. We have Winnie-the-Pooh - my daughter's stuff is classic Pooh and my son has the Disney Pooh. The walls are a bluish-purple and they have medium-brown wood furniture.

Congrats!

lucklygirl

~Lucklygirl101~
I was thinking of white walls with a cream sleigh bed with a big canopy! yes or no! thanks!

Answer
Try to stay with muted pastels with accents of black, very romantic. The white walls with the cream bed is just fine. Think of satin, velvet or silks even if they are just in throw pillows.
A chenille spread could be an option. Lacquered tables or mirrored fronted tables would be conducive to your theme as well as crystal lamps, phone, chandelier, shag rug, dressing table with Hollywood lights above.

Good Christmas gift for 9-10 year old girls, maybe a bedroom accesory?

Boz

I need to find a gift for 9-10 year old girls, they are the last on my shopping list and I'm stuck, I would really like to wrap it up this week, online instead of hitting the over packed malls and stores, but willing to do so if that's what it takes..

They are into all the tween stuff, One Direction , Bieber, twilight and all Disney stars, anything to do with that would be great, and maybe if anything falls into a bedroom accessory, wall decor, game , lamp clock radio...as they have just recently got their own independent rooms for the first time.

If anyone can pint me in the right direction or give me ideas, you will make my week and have some good karma coming back, it doesn't have to be any of those interests I mentioned any other good idea will work as well..oh yeah between the $25-$50 range each..

Thanks!!!

Answer
Ok, posters and stuff is awesome, but if you want to be more creative, get them Klutz activity sets. They are like 20 bucks a set and REALLY fun. I loved them when I was 10. You can find them at Barnes and Nobles and other book stores.

Also, I know I've always wanted fairy lights in my room, like across my headboard and stuff. Thats a cool idea. Though theyll need help installing it...

Maybe you can get them one direction dolls? haha not too sure if they'd like that

Also, If they havent bought it already, get them One direction's/ justin biebers latest album.

It may be best to get them two of the same girts so their isnt any fighting
